Carded by Kaia is a line of lifestyle greeting cards that pays tribute to my mother, Sandra Benjamin, and honors sending the right card as a thoughtful way we show love, care, and connection to our family and friends. Our cards are a love letter to the Black and Brown experience, using relatable vernacular and rhyming wordplay to capture everyday moments in a comical and authentic way.
To #GetCarded means you have either gifted a Carded by Kaia card or received one. It represents feeling seen, celebrated, and valued. More than just a hashtag, #GetCarded is our slogan and mantra, reminding us that a thoughtful card can feel like a warm hug or a check-in phone call from a friend.
About the Founder
The founder, Kaia Benjamin, personally ideates and illustrates every Carded by Kaia design, with an assist from a steady diet of thought-provoking conversation, witty comical relief, kickbacks, and 90s R&B and Hip Hop. As a proud Boogie Down Bronx native, she makes sure every card captures an authentic, relatable vibe that truly resonates with the culture.
